My biggest #whyilovephilly?
I know winter storms affect cities all along the East Coast, but Philadelphia does snow right. The snow blankets the city and dulls it -- everything is white and quiet. People on the streets are calmer and just more friendly. AND, because it doesn't snow that often (some winters we don't even get snow!), the city doesn't salt the roads the night before so we often get snow days post-storm. In other words.. no school! Have you watched SNL's "Teacher Snow Day" skit? In case you haven't, I embedded the video below.
