Philadelphia Brewing Company

Philadelphia Brewing Company has become a staple in the Fishtown area of Philadelphia since it was founded in 2007. In many bars in Philadelphia you will find a PBC on tap. Most famous is the Kenzinger.

If you haven’t already, you need to visit the brewery. They have a fun, educational, and FREE brewery tours on Saturdays from noon til 3pm. The tasting room is open during those hours as well. Conveniently for me, it’s located about 5 blocks from my house. Sometimes I will buy a variety pack and do my own tasting at home.

Don't worry, I had some help emptying all these bottles.

While I don't think of myself as picky when it comes to beer, I do prefer the Commonwealth Ciders especially the Gregarious Ginger. As the website says, "They are all natural, gluten-free, and delicious." My fiance loves the Joe Porter because it tastes exactly like coffee.

On my last visit to the brewery with my sister, we got some merchandise and couldn't help ourselves from being silly and applying some fake tattoos featuring the PBCs Newbold IPA.

If you are looking for a weekend activity, definitely check out Philadelphia Brewing Company and drink some beer!
