Blue Bottle (drip) coffee at The Ferry Building. We went on the Saturday after Christmas so it was PACKED, to say the least. But the coffee was soooo worth the wait.

It's been chilly but otherwise gorgeous here for the past few days: sunny with little cloud cover. It's been, as Alan says, "perfect for Instagram; the light itself is a filter". And yes, while I agree that it has been nice catching up with family and old friends, walking around without an umbrella, buying wine at Target, and taking timely and clean public transit, I miss the brick buildings, cobblestone roads and old-city charm of my favorite East Coast City. See you soon, Philadelphia!
